Valuing God's Presence Is A Key To Heaven's Worship Restoration
When you read in the Old Testament Scriptures about seeking God's face, we should interpret that that as seeking the presence of God. In fact in 2nd Chronicles 7:14 the promise is given that if God's people would seek his face (seek his presence), humble themselves, pray, and turn from their wicked ways then God would hear from heaven, forgive their sin, and heal their land.
“Presence” is a common translation of the Hebrew word “face.” Literally, we are to seek his “face.” This is the Hebraic way of having access to God. To be before his face is to be in his presence. We need to love the presence of God. We show God that we love his presence by inviting his presence to be with us in a stronger measure when we begin to worship Him.
We also show God we love his presence and we cultivate more of His presence through extended worship. The longer the worship services are the more delight we bring to our Heavenly Father.
We believe that we can enjoy God's felt-realized presence as we worship corporately and individually. Inviting and experiencing God's presence through praise and worship is our passion as a church and especially as a ministry. We believe the presence of God is available to God's people as they follow the Biblical order of worship as seen in Psalms and birthed in the Tabernacle of David in the Old Testament. We also believe that, as believers, we are to be spiritual priests who offer up spiritual sacrifices to God. One of the primary sacrifices we offer is the "fruit of our lips" or our audible praise and worship given to God.
Our ministry passion is to focus on exalting God as we worship, ministering with a spirit of excellence as we help bring the congregation into the presence of God. We attempt to have a balanced and contemporary style in our worship. We incorporate a variety of new, old, and different musical styles in our worship, with a goal to always glorify the Lord not only in song, but also obeying the Scriptures that encourage us to dance also, thus releasing a strong and full orbed spirit of worship in the congregation.
Again, we believe Biblical worship is spontaneous, demonstrative and is characterized by the biblical expressions of clapping, shouting, singing, dancing, lifting hands, bowing and kneeling, waving arms and hands, and flags and banners... as well as other Biblical expressions of dance. (Psalms 22:3; Hebrews 13:15; Ephesians 5:18-19; Hebrews 13:15).....
We embrace the presence of God in all our gatherings by worshiping in Spirit and in truth. We recognize that worship is not entertainment or putting on a show. True worship must come from our hearts in adoration of the Lord for all His abundant goodness.
The anointed presence of God manifest in worship and praise is one of the highest priorities of Heaven's Worship Restoration Church and Ministries, knowing that out of these times of His presence come refreshing, direction, comfort, strength, healing, provision, salvation, and deliverance for all people....
Worship should be expressed in truth, i.e. in obedience to the ways of worship as revealed in the Scriptures, and also revealed to us by people who have visited Heaven. Worship should also be expressed in Spirit i.e. energized by the leading and power of the Holy Spirit, and done in right heart and attitudes with unfeigned love for God. We are on a quest for an ever-increasing level of the Presence of God both corporately and individually. There is no substitute for His presence in our lives. (Psalms 16:7-8, 11; Acts 2: 25).
It was within the "worship womb" of a particular local church (which is no more), much of the text on this page came from the old website of that church, that the the founder developed creative praise movements as he worshiped the Lord in an environment of valuing God's presence and an environment of worship and praise freedom and extended worship. Because the right soil was provided, something beautiful could blossom forth and out of this worship womb was birthed: Heaven's Worship Restoration Ministries.
